Common Signs of Lung Cancer

Irregular Breast Tissue

The last warning sign on our list is one that is arguably the one that is least well known to be associated with lung cancer. In some cases, lung cancer can cause the secretion of hormones that is abnormal in men. This can result in the spontaneous development of breast tissue. The technical term for the development of breasts in men is gynecomastia and the cause is an unusually high level of estrogen. Luckily, there are ways to reduce this symptom including surgery and hormonal supplements. However, if you are a man and notice that you have developed breast tissue and have not gained weight overall, speak to your doctor and ask that they test to see if lung cancer is to blame.
