Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding
Abnormal or unusual vaginal bleeding, different than a standard monthly period is a likely sign that reproductive elements are being compromised. For example, if unexpected blood clots are evident in vaginal bleeding, inclusive or not of monthly menses, take a mental note. If clotting becomes heavy, call your doctor. If periods become excessively heavy or missed, medical culprits include pregnancy, polyps, fibroids or tumors are suspected.
Unwelcome visitors that cause abnormal vagina bleeding are usually benign. It is best to remove polyps, cysts and fibroids as a precautionary maintenance plan to support discouragement of ovarian, cervical or uterine cancers.
